KICKS RULE EVERYTHING AROUND ME
Just got my first look at these bad boys. The Melo M9’s….just off 1st impressions I’m really feeling the shoe in general. The overall makeup and concept that the shoe has to me is dope….From the looks of this picture it looks like it will be lighter than the M8. Not sure how the comfort level will be but it looks like it will be decent. I live the comfort of the M8’s. Even though Melo is my favorite player I don’t have any of his shoes. Part of the reason being because I wish I had of started at the 1st pair but maybe one day I’ll be able to get all the previous pairs and the new ones (that would be dope). This Knicks color way looks pretty good as well. No word on the release date yet but most like about a month before the seasons tip-off which is when they usually release everyone new signature series. But stay tuned for the official release date!

Nike+ Basketball System….Lebron X+ $300?
Currency conversions are tricky therefore we can never be sure about the actual price. Mainly because Nike sets difference MSPR’s for different locations. For example the Nike LeBron 9 which retails for $170 in the U.S. costs 160 Euros in Europe, which is no near the ~130 Euros after conversion. However, according to the graphic below the upcoming Nike LeBron X (back no roman numerals!) will come out in two versions… regular (price still under $200) and LeBron X+ with integrated Nike+ Basketball system. This special version is probably going to cost more than the previously announced Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite ($250). It’s going to be somewhere near $300 for a pair of basketball shoes! That’s crazy. According to Jason Petrie, LeBron James will lead Nike Basketball into the future starting with the Nike Hyperdunk 2012 this summer, but hopefully people won’t be trading cars for a pair of sneakers by then. via NL
